By Air

By Road
Take the M1 (Islamabad to Peshawar) motorway and join the N45 at Chakdara via Swat Expressway. Proceed to Chitral on the N45 via Timergarah and Dir and take the Lowari Tunnel, a magnificent feat of engineering, cutting through 8.5 km of solid mountain to enter Chitral.
By Bus
A luxury Coach is operated from Islamabad to Chitral daily by Hindukush Express.
